Local Hikes (www.localhikes.com) is an excellent website for local hike information.  Additionally, Troop 167 has compiled information on several hikes we have done. The following hikes have been done by various members of our Troop covering several decades.  As time permits, we plan on including more hikes.  They are intended as an aid in developing your backpacking experience.  Most hikes turn out better if they are sufficiently researched prior to the trip.  It is incumbent upon all hike leaders to verify the accuracy of the information provided herein.  Believe it or not, trails do change over time both in location as well as name.  Water sources, acceptable camp sites, weather, and local regulations are very important issues and should be checked prior to any hike.
